Healing Hive Collective is entirely women-owned and operated, comprised of two homesteading families in New Gloucester and Auburn, Maine. We work together to grow medicinal herbs, keep bees, and craft intentional products centered around herbal wellness and self-care.
Healing Hive Collective was inspired by the spirit of mutual aid, resource sharing, and community-building. Utilizing individual strengths and areas of expertise to collaborate on offerings that heal on multiple levels, we are dedicated to sustainability and permaculture systems that serve our community and help heal the planet.
We are currently growing our homestead apiaries with the goal of using 100% of our own honey and beeswax in our products. Our perennial herb gardens are well underway and provide more medicine each year. Most of the herbs in our products were grown by us, sustainably wildcrafted from local fields and forests, or sourced from other small businesses.
Wellness is our passion, and we recognize that many layers are required to heal body, mind, and spirit. This is reflected in the synergy of medicinal herbs, CBD, natural ingredients, and healing crystals that we choose for our offerings.
Rosalie has 10+ years of experience on all sides of the cannabis industry, from seed to sale, and has been perfecting her line of topical CBD products the entire time. Rosalie started working with CBD in her bath products in order to create something that provided real relief for a close family member suffering with pain from cancer. This led her to creating topical products with both gentle ingredients and powerful relief. She continues to be active in the cannabis industry, keeping up on all of the latest science concerning CBD. She spends her spare time restoring her historic New Gloucester home, tending her chickens, and planning for her new goat babies.
Amber is a native of Appalachian Kentucky and draws much influence from the folk herbalism of her childhood. Her love of herbalism began by helping her dad hunt for ginseng and learning how to properly prepare pokeweed with her grandmother. She has also studied with Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and The School of Evolutionary Herbalism. She continues to work in the field of mental health and strives to integrate this knowledge and experience into her herbalism practice. Amber and her family currently live in Auburn on a 2-acre urban homestead that she is passionately converting into a permaculture food forest called 33 Zen Lane, where she also crafts natural soaps, teas, and other offerings. www.thirtythreezenlane.com
